Kendallvue Weekly Updates
October 9 - 15, 2022
Final Week of Fundraising!
We have entered into our final week of fundraising. Thank you for your continued support of our school. We look forward to using these funds toward an outdoor classroom, new technology with Mimio Interactive boards, and improving our Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS). Our "Pie the Principal" event was postponed from Friday to Monday because of the weather. There is still time to get in your pledge tonight and the winning class will get the honors!
We had a busy week last week. State Patroller Derrick Heller was her on Wednesday and had a great message to our students about Internet safety and bullying prevention. We will continue to focus on bullying prevention in the Month of October. We kicked off our Watch DOGS program Monday night with a great turnout for our pizza party. Sign up to be a Watch DOG and spend some time with your kid(s) at school!
October will continue to be busy the next few weeks. We are excited for Ninja Nation to come on Friday and set up their course. Our Watch DOGS will set up another course for kids so they are not waiting around for just the Ninja course. Next week we have our community meeting with the Peiffer community on Monday night, October 17. Parent/Teacher Conference are also next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Make sure to sign up with your student's teacher. Finally, take the night off from cooking Thursday night, October 13 and go to Saucy's Pizza. Just say you are supporting Kendallvue and a percentage of the sales goes to our school. Thursday night sounds like a good night for Pizza!
Have a great week!
Cheers,
Bruce Lindsey
