- Take advantage of your child's MyOn account for additional online reading resources - CLICK HERE FOR MYON
- Have fun with your family during this unexpected break
Need something for the kids to look forward to? Maybe we can help?
Our Scholastic Spring Book Fair will now be online April 6-19th.
We decided instead of rescheduling, it would give the kids something to look forward to knowing it's coming in the mail.
As always when you purchase online our school benefits and your book only order of $25 or more ships free.
Hard Copy Resources
In an effort to provide families tangible resources to engage children while schools are closed the district will be providing hard copy grade level resources in addition to online resources.
These resources are NOT mandatory.
However, if you choose to use the hard copy resources located in the bins placed at the main entrance of the school...
- There are two different packets identified by Week.
- Week 3 packets will be in the bins by the end of the day on Monday, April 6.
Please email rdowney@lapeerschools.org if you take the last hard copy or if you notice that more are needed at Murphy.
The hard copy and online resources are also available through the District Website.
You can download the hard copy resources by clicking the links below.

Mayfield School Closure and What it Means for Murphy Families...
New elementary attendance boundaries had to be adjusted for Lynch, Murphy and Schickler. Turrill Elementary will continue to operate as a year round elementary school and is currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year.
Based on the new boundaries:
- Students currently attending Murphy but whose address is no longer in the attendance boundary will be reassigned to the school according to the new boundary.
- Students currently attending Murphy by "In-District School of Choice" will be returned to their building of residency and will need to reapply.
If you would like to request a different building other than the one assigned to your child(ren) you will need to complete a new District School of Choice application by clicking the link below.
Please note if the number of applications exceed the space available, a lottery will be conducted for those that apply. Applications can be returned to your current building or the Administration Building. Parents will be notified of the status of their application the week of April 27, 2020.
