Important Dates for 6th Graders - Save the Date!
On May 31st (before awards), all sixth graders will be viewing Oliver!, a 1968 classic that is based on the Dickens novel, Oliver Twist. This will be in preparation for our expedition in 7th Grade, "Cost" and Effect. It is rated "G," and because of time we will be watching segments of the film that relate to the Industrial Revolution and themes of the expedition.
6th Grade Awards Celebration will be Tuesday, May 31st at 10:00 in our gymnasium. We will recognize all 6th-grade students during this special ceremony!
On May 25th, student iPads will be picked up during ELA class. Students will be turning in their iPad and charger, and their iPad and charger (the same one) will be returned to them in the fall. They will be sorted in large bags for easy re-delivery. Please make sure that your child has his or her device on this date. If you have questions, please email adent@lexington1.net or jmurphy@lexington1.net.
