Incoming 6th grade Sequoia Giants, it's time to plan for next year. We can't wait for your arrival!

The time has come for our students to submit their Elective Requests for the 2021-2022 School year. Our course selection process will be completed 100% virtually through the Google Form attached to this newsletter. We have made individual 5th grade virtual class visits and presented an "Intro to Middle School" slidedeck with them. We are sorry you have missed it but don't worry, we recorded it for your convenience. Click below to view it if you would like.

Ha llegado el tiempo para que los estudiantes soliciten sus clases selectivas para el ciclo escolar 2021-2022. Please review the Information in this newsletter as much of it applies to all incoming students. Elective Course Requests for incoming 7th and 8th grade students will be completed over the phone. Once you have reviewed the Course Catalog along with the Sequoia Video Showcase both found on this communication as well as the front page of our SMS website, call our main office at 925-934-8174 and let our Office staff know that you are calling to submit your child's elective course requests for next year.

Click here to view the slidedeck that was shared back in February. We had the pleasure of meeting each of the individual 5th grade classes from Sequoia Elementary as well as Monte Gardens to share "All things Middle School" with them.

5th Grade Q and A with Sequoia Middle Administrators

During the first visit with the 5th graders we asked the students to come up with questions that they were curious about. We used those questions and designed a Q and A Slide deck presentation and met with them again LIVE on Zoom to review.
