Electricity
Conductors, Semiconductors, and insulators
Conductors
Conductors: are materials that freely allow the flow of electrons with very little resistance.
Semiconductors: are materials that do not allow electrons to flow freely but do not directly stop them either. Semiconductors have more resistance than conductors but less resistance than insulators.
Insulators: are materials that greatly impede or stop the flow of electrons with very high resistance.
The difference between semiconductors, conductors, and insulators.
conductors conduct electricity really well and insulators don't, and semiconductors are in between with really good amount of conduction.
