#TCEA14
Pink Argyle + Technology + Mini Road Trip = Heaven!
TCEA= Texas Computer Education Association
I have never in my life been inspired by so many different people all at one time. There are so many things I didn't know until this conference. Educators are seriously going above and beyond what I thought possible in the classroom.
One of the big underlying themes of this conference was 1:1 and BYOD. I had no idea what that meant!!
1:1 is when students are provided a device (laptop, tablet, iPod) and BYOD (or sometimes T) stands for Bring Your Own Device or Technology. Who knew?!
A lot of the techie tools listed here are intended for classrooms and districts with those initiatives. However, there is a way to incorporate these AMAZING activities in traditional or limited tech device classrooms. I can't wait to find out how!
I am so inspired so excited to learn even more!! :)
Getting there...
Once we arrived, it was all about settling in and getting ready. We presented our first session "Is Your Passport Ready?" on Monday morning. It went really well even though our participants were pretty hush hush.
