Members of the CI network: alumni, mentors, and investors, we hope you all had a great holiday season and a fantastic 2012. As our 'family' continues to grow, it's increasingly more important for us to keep up to date with all of you to take advantage of this great network we're continuing to build. We'll be sending you all these newsletters twice a month to keep you connected and informed. Any feedback is welcome!

Recent Portfolio Press Hits


We'll be updating our website over the next few weeks. Each of the portfolio companies will now have a listing of all of their press hits, as well as social media links to drive traffic to their respective sites (e.g. Twitter, CrunchBase, etc).

Start of Spring 2013 Accelerator Program - February 4, 2013
It’s hard to believe, but we’re well underway in putting together our 4th class of companies. The Spring 2013 program will begin on Feb 4, 2013, and go until the end of April. Graduates, I may be asking you to stop by to share your experiences, expertise, etc with the new class. Let me know if you’d be interested.

Demo Day 2013 - May 8, 2013
Following up on the incredibly successful event last year (~300 attendees, ~50 investors), we’ll be having Demo Day again at the Pageant in the Loop. Save the dates will be coming soon - so mark your calendars.

Call to Action

It this section, we’ll list anything you’d like to get from the CI network of mentors, investors, and companies. This can include, and is not limited to:

  • job postings
  • connections / introductions
  • service provider referrals or recommendations
  • funding opportunities
