Learning TOGETHER!
It is wonderful to walk through the school to see and hear the students engaged! Our students are busy reading, discussing, enjoying fresh air at recess and learning, LEARNING, learning- together!!! This short week is a reminder to us all that every day that our students come to school to learn together is very important. Of course, we appreciate that you monitor any of the quick-check symptoms listed in Nurse Christina's note (see below) and understand if you need to keep your child home. We appreciate your communication as concerns arise, and thank you for all you are doing to show care for each other!
All the Best,
Ms. DeWitt
Arrival/Dismissal
Thank you for doing your best to be to school in time so that our students are able to arrive at their classrooms, ready to learn, by 8:05 AM. We appreciate every single minute we get to share with our students on their two in-person days at DHE!
Be on the look out for new car tags and car line protocols coming soon! We are working every day to be efficient and SAFE with our the car line!
MEAL Pick-Up Plan at DHE
Cohort A: meals will be available every Tuesday immediately after school. After you pick your student(s) up in the car line, pull around into the bus loop where Nutrition Staff will be available to provide your meals.
Cohort B: meals will be available every Friday immediately after school. After you pick your student(s) up in the car line, pull around into the bus loop where Nutrition Staff will be available to provide your meals.
Please note that Nutrition Staff will not provide meals until the bus has left the bus loop. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with this process.

- Our counselor, Mr. Petree, is checking in on our families whether seated or virtual. Staying connected matters, and Mr. Petree cares about all of our Huskies!
- It was great to have Dr. Jungmann pay a visit to Harrison Elementary to see first-hand all of the amazing learning happening here. Every single teacher is working hard to provide positive opportunities for our Huskies to learn and grow!
