MCA Weekly Wrap-Up!

Primary & KinderPrep Family News - Dec. 7, 2018

Big picture

Dear Families,

Can you believe it is already December? We've already had quite a bit of cold, blustery weather as we begin this winter season! Please make sure your child has a warm coat for recess. It's easy to forget when you hop in the car in the garage, but your child will sure remember at recess time!

It may be cold outside, but it is warm in our school and in our hearts at MCA! This is such a special time of the year, with Christmas celebrations and family events and church events. We have many school events coming up- Christmas programs and parties and field trips- and I pray that we remember the reason for all these celebrations! Jesus as a tiny baby, dwelling on this earth, here to save us from our own brokenness. Thank you, Jesus!

6th and K Buddy Day!

This week our 6th grade students came over to visit their Kindergarten buddies! They did some fun activities together to celebrate the Christmas season, and got to make some new friends! It's wonderful that our youngest students have the opportunity to see these 6th graders as positive role models who demonstrate Christ's love!

Ice Cream with the Principal!

Mason Ingalsbe, 1st grader, was the first student this year to use his SOAR bucks to buy an ice cream treat at the office! Great work demonstrating those SOAR expectations, Mason!

A Note from Parents in Prayer

December is a busy time for all! We will not have our Parents in Prayer meetings for the next couple of weeks. Please continue to pray for our school before break and during vacation time, and our prayer time will to will reconvene after we return in January.
