West Nile Attacks the Nervous and Muscular Systems, But There's Only One Type
TRANSMISSION
The West Nile Virus is transmitted by mosquitoes and blood.
The Elderly are Most at Risk, but Anyone can be Infected. People such as landscapers, construction workers, and anyone who works outside are most at risk.
CRIME
Some symptoms of the virus are fever, headaches, body aches, and skin rash.
If you get West Nile, some damage can be permanent muscle weakness, brain damage, paralysis, and death.
HIDEOUT
Watch out for standing bodies of water where a lot of mosquitoes could be. This is where they prefer to live and mate.
