On October 24, the Somerset Berkley Regional School Committee unanimously approved the implementation of a policy that allowed for us to welcome a comfort dog into our school community. Griffey Laurence, owned by Mr. Andrew Laurence, Math Content Coordinator, joined us as a member of our high school team. He has been sighted visiting classrooms, participating in P.E., working with students in guidance and has been an overall happy presence in the building. The drama club’s production of “Trap” runs from November 16-18th. All shows start at 7 PM. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Join us for this spectacular thriller!!

The Raider Rally will begin at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. While we will be opening up the walking track to the public, it will be standing room only and there are no chairs available. For safety reasons, guests will not be allowed on the gymnasium floor. There will be an elevator available for anyone who is in need of assistance getting up and down stairs. Other than those needing elevator assistance, all guests will leave the walking track at the conclusion of the rally via the walking track stairs which lead directly outside of the building. In addition, all guests must adhere to the following guidelines:

· There are absolutely no bags allowed to be brought into the Raider Rally.

· All guests will be subject to search using a metal detecting device.

· Absolutely no food or drink will be allowed into the Raider Rally.

Doors to the rally will open at 8:00 a.m. As we have had to put additional security measures in place, it may take a while to get everyone into the walking track. The rally will start on time, regardless of whether guests have finished getting through the process of entry into the building.

Please check your child's Aspen account to make sure that your address, phone numbers and email addresses are correct. This is especially important for the Class of 2024. As we get closer to graduation, things are mailed and sent home that will be missed if we do not have the correct information. Please report any changes to Ms. Smith in the main office.
