Caves

What is a cave?
Caves are spaces with walls all around them. Sometimes caves are above the ground instead of below it. Caves are openings to the top of the earth. Caves are found in places like mountains, rocky cliffs, and inside ice.
Physical Features
Most caves are made up of soft rock called limestone.
Caves are all different because of things that happen in nature.
Animals
Many bats and mice live in caves. The bats also hunt the mice. Rats live in caves as well as bears and ladybugs.
natural resource
One natural resource is limestone. Limestone is a soft rock and forms when water eats through it and creates a hole and the hole becomes a cave. Water is also a natural resource.
climate
Caves are normally below 50 dagoes. and very moisture.
