Consult Your Colleagues
Supporting Our PWCS Students 2020-2021
Whom Will You Consult?
*A lot of school-based mental health professionals and other educators are sharing ideas right now on social media, online forums, etc...many of these have possible consequences that are important to discuss and think through. Before making plans to implement and publicly communicate these ideas, please make sure that your ideas are in line with policies we've outlined in this Smore, and that your administrators and their senior leadership contacts are aware and are in support.
Mentors and mentees, please stay in touch with each other remotely, and continue your mentoring meetings via phone or video conference.
Site supervisors, please consult the university field placement specialists/university contacts for your interns. If they are suggesting that interns complete activities that go against PWCS policy during this time, please advise them that this cannot be done.
Of course, the Office of Student Services is here for consultation purposes, as well. Please contact us if you need assistance or have questions.
