Important Information for the Week
Holiday Celebrations
Thank you to all our families for joining us at Port Hope High School last week to celebrate our Grade 1 - 6 Holiday Concert. We loved having you with us! This week, the Kindergartens will be sharing their musical talent through their concert and Holiday Open House. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Food and the Holidays
Just a gentle reminder as we head into over-indulging this holiday season, that we have many students at our school with nut allergies. We also have a student with a life threatening dairy allergy. Please keep this in mind when sending in treats or goodies for sharing.
Festive Fridays
Still two weeks to go in our Festive Friday Challenge!
Week 2 (Dec 10-14) Challenge: Christmas Song
Each class needs to come up with a Christmas-y song together. If they complete this challenge, everyone gets to dress as their Favourite Christmas Character on Friday, December 14th.
Week 3 (Dec 17-21) Challenge: Christmas Play
Each class will read a holiday-themed book together. They will then re-create the story. If they complete this challenge, everyone gets to wear Christmas pyjamas on Friday, December 21st.
School Council Candy Grams
School Council will be offering Candy Cane Grams for sale all this week during first break - all proceeds going towards our School Council initiatives. If you would like to help your child fill in their candy gram form at home, extra forms will be available in the office.
Just one more thing.....
