- Help you student learn more reading and/or math at home by encouraging him/her to work on iReady.
- Our English Learner students begin taking the Summative ELPAC this week. This assessment will be one measure of the students' language acquisition and their progress toward reclassification. All parents of English Learner Students received a letter informing them that the testing window is from February 1-March 4. We are confident our students will try their best and show off how much they are progressing in academics and their strong English language skills.

Black History Month February 1- March 1
Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Also known as African American History Month. In 1926, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) chose the second week in February as a time to celebrate the contributions of African Americans. The week was picked to coincide with the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass, two men who played a prominent role in eliminating slavery.
