Grades 3-6: Looking Ahead to IAR Testing
We will begin testing for the Illinois Assessment of Readiness on Wednesday April 8th. Students will take a series of 5 tests (2 ELA and 3 Math). The testing window at Henry Puffer will last about 2 weeks. Please avoid scheduling vacations, appointments, etc during these weeks. If you are trying to schedule something and would like to know if your child is testing at that time, please call Mrs. Peterson in the office.
Cold and Flu Season
With cold and flu season upon us, it's very important that children remain home if they have a temperature of 100.0 or greater until they are fever free for at least 24 hours without the aid of fever-reducing medications. Children should also remain home for 24 hours free of any symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea. Please see the District 58 health guidelines here: https://sites.google.com/dg58.org/mshannon/health-guide?authuser=0
Variety Show
The Variety Show (formerly known as the Talent Show) is coming up! Tryouts begin on Friday, March 6th.
March Lunch Menu
Please see the attached March lunch menu. A paper copy was also sent home, and you can find this on the Henry Puffer website.
