Chatham Chats

Thank you so much for your attendance last week during early release conferences! We appreciate you taking the time from your day to come in and talk with us about your child. I heard such positive comments from teachers and parents; it was a wonderful reminder of just how important our partnership is to the education of our Harbins' children.

Don't forget that Harbins Days is coming soon! I am looking forward to seeing you there.

It is GREAT to be a Harbins Tiger!

On November 3, 2015, Gwinnett voters will be asked to consider continuing the E-SPLOST (education special purpose local option sales tax).

Please follow the link below to read more.

AAA Soccer After School on Tuesdays

Just a reminder that the AAA Soccer is not a school activity. This program is through the Archer Athletic Association. If your child is involved in this activity, you will need to send their note to stay after school and all of their soccer needs for the program with them to school. These items cannot be dropped off during the day at school. If they leave their soccer items at home, you will need to bring after school and meet them on the field once they are outside for the program.

Updates from Harbins Cafe

As of Monday 9/21 if you haven't updated your child's/children's free and reduced status the child will become full pay.

Harbins Cafe is now offering Vanilla milk along with our other milks.

Safety Reminder

Please remember that all visitors to the school must enter through the front doors and sign in. Each visitor should wear the yellow name tag at all times while on school grounds.

Teachers and staff are engaged with children from 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. Please help us preserve that time. We ask that if you need to speak with a staff member, you set up a time with that person. This way, we can ensure we are devoting our attention to the children in the building and making sure we meet your needs.

Box Tops

Last year we earned over $3200 from Box Tops, which helped us purchase much needed technology for our school. Our first contest of the the year ends October 1.

Please send in your box tops in groups of 50. Separate bonus box tops from regular ones, and make sure you only send in ones that are dated before 10-1-15.

If you turn in more than 100 box tops before October 1st, you will receive a prize!

These are the 3 ways you can turn in box tops:
