Headed to the Next Level

We have awesome student/athletes at Pottsboro ISD. Many of those students will be taking their talents to the collegiate level. They each deserve a congratulations for their accomplishments. They have put in a lot of effort and commitment into their respective sports. Pottsboro ISD is extremely proud of each of them!

Golf Team Tearing Up the Links

The Pottsboro Golf Team has participated in 5 tournaments and has come away with 5 victories. Coach Utsler recently said, " I am really proud of these guys. They put in a lot of work and never complain about whether it is too windy, cold or wet. Several put in extra time on the weekends practicing or playing. Results from this dedication has been fantastic." Here is another awesome example of the quality student/athletes we have here at PISD.

Deonte Sanseverino Recognized

Deonte Sanseverino was selected as one of the few student technicians across the state of Texas to run the all-state theatre production, Big Fish. Students selected have been working throughout the past year on weekends and during the summer to put together this incredible new musical. At the Texas Thespians State Festival, Deonte and the other students from across the state finally performed their show for the 6200 students and their teachers at the festival, with Deonte running the light board.

At this festival (TTSF), Deonte was also selected to be one of the State Thespian Officers and represent students across the state of Texas over the next year. Only one of thirteen, he will help plan and put together next year's state festival--a huge honor!
