From the Principal's Desk

Dear Elliott Parents,

During this time at Thanksgiving, we want to share our gratitude and thank you for being such an important part of your children’s lives each and every day. This is a wonderful time of the year to get together with friends and family to celebrate and be thankful for all that we have. On behalf of the Elliott Staff, I would like to thank you for your continued support and wish you all a safe and happy holiday.

A huge shout out to our PTO and volunteers for a fabulous American Education Week! Thank you for all you do.

We will see everyone back here on November 28th.

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend.

Munster Education Foundation Fundraiser

Munster Education Foundation Merry & Bright Holiday Lights Experience

Munster Education Foundation's third-annual Merry & Bright Holiday Lights Experience kicks off on Dec. 2! This annual event raises money for our Munster schools through votes for participating houses. Last year, 26 homes entered this festive contest, raising money for innovative educational experiences at Munster schools.

Join us for Light the Night, an annual tree-lighting ceremony sponsored by MEF, the Munster Civic Foundation, and the Munster Chamber of Commerce, on Dec. 2 from 5:30-6:30 at Munster Town Hall. This event features festive food, local vendors, and fun for all ages. New this year: trolley rides on Dec. 2—available for a nominal cost—to view the holiday lights.

Then, view the holiday lights around town Dec. 2 through Dec. 31 and vote for your favorite home. Every vote goes toward grants for Munster schools.

To enter your house or to buy a Holiday Lights Kit, view our events page at Events – Munster Education Foundation for more details!

Red Ribbon Week

Elliott Elementary celebrates Red Ribbon Week in a big way!

Last week, all Elliott students participated in an arial picture, complete with 500 red balloons. These giant eagle wings are made up of students and staff holding balloons high in the air!

Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to inflate and distribute balloons and helped make this a unique and fun day!
