TMEA Audition Process for 2020-2021 - SIGN UP NOW!

Each year, the Texas Music Educators Association sponsors a series of auditions which culminates in the selection to the Texas All-State Choir. The directors encourage all choir students to consider making the TMEA process part of their choral education each year. The vocal experience gained, and the exposure to the challenging audition repertoire, result in tremendous musical growth in the students who choose to participate in this process. The rigorous nature of these auditions require commitment to practice at home, and also the responsibility to come to rehearsals at school. Private voice lessons are highly encouraged for all participants, but they are not mandatory.

This year, TMEA has moved to virtual auditions for the duration of the Texas All-State Choir process. The first round of auditions will be in the middle of October, the second in November, and the final round in early January.

CutTime Student & Parent Accounts

The Permian Choir uses CutTime to help manage program communications, student participation records, administer financial records, share volunteer needs, celebrate program events, and so much more.

Invitations to join this system were sent out this week to students. We will be teaching students how to access and update their accounts very soon. Parents should be on the lookout for an invitation email in the next week!
