Bueche's Bulletin: News You Can Use
December 5, 2014 or thereabouts
A Note from Ms. Bueche
We took our winter reading MAP test. WOW did students do well! Many have to re-evaluate their spring goals.
This is a shortened newsletter as I have students working on our review week newscast instead. Partners each took a topic on the test to create a short skit or informational segment. We filmed it in the green room in the Husky Hub. We'll see how we can put it together. It is a learning experience- for everyone!
In order to use their knowledge of propaganda to their advantage, students made Animotos about a gift they want for the holiday. I will forward the movie intended for you. Enjoy!
We will be having our winter party on December 19th. We are doing a station rotation with the other classes in our bridge. I won't need helpers, but I'll send home a reminder note with those who signed up to send in a food item.
We will be stamping our Camp Half-Blood shirts on Dec. 18. Students can bring in their shirts anytime before then to be ready.
