Communication Plan
GOAL: Student will improve verbal and non-verbal language skills in progression with his current goals of his IEP.
Daily, weekly, and monthly updates will be included in this newsletter.
Simple icons will be used to update student progress on each chart.
Links to teacher email, classroom activities, school events, community events, learning resources, and support groups are included below.
Please feel to contact me with any questions or concerns. We will set up an annual meeting 30 days prior to the expiration of the student IEP. However, if the teacher or parent feels that a meeting before the annual is beneficial to student progress, one will be set up.
Daily
Student will also be observed daily through the interactions in class activities and related assignments with other students.
Daily Observations:
- Easily speaks with a small group.
- Appears calm.
- Uses verbal skills and gestures.
Weekly
Weekly Observations:
- Joins in group discussions.
- Knowledgeable about the subject matter.
- Makes connections about the topic.
Monthly
Monthly Observations:
- Speaks to whole class.
- Appears confident.
- Uses language skills.
