Student Cell Phone Use

Student devices should be Powered OFF from 9:00 am - 3:26 pm and stored out of sight.

Students may not take/use their cell phones outside during recess. If students or parents need to relay urgent messages to each other, they may do so through the office.

Students who are not feeling well should be evaluated by the health office who will then make contact to parents about any concerns.

Ensuring Consistency of Student Cell Phone Usage

Parents ask that you review the following pages with your children at home regarding the District and School wide policy regarding cell phone usage~Thank you!

Added Level of Security for Student Devices

This week, we were able to add an additional level of safety for our students with their school-issued devices. All devices will essentially "shut down" at 8 pm during the week and "open" at 8 am. This will also limit weekend use, as the device will shut down at 8 pm Friday and reopen on Monday morning at 8 am. We are hopeful that this will decrease the student usage we are seeing during the overnight hours and assist families with preventing students from accessing online content.

Teachers will keep this in mind if assigning online work during the week or over the weekend. Students will need to use a personal device if they need to be online after the permissible hours.

Thank you!
