Having a Growth Mindset
Often families ask how they can best assist their child's success. We recommend the information regarding Growth Mindset.
At Bilbray, from Prekindergarten-Grade 5 we strive to develop this in our students. “Do what you love, and don’t stop until you get what you love. Work as hard as you can, imagine immensities…” Far from a Pollyanna platitude, this advice actually reflects what modern psychology knows about how belief systems about our own abilities and potential fuel our behavior and predict our success. Check out this link for Parents for K-12 students
We hope that you find the link above a helpful connection to helping your child at home to "Build a Bridge". We are grateful daily for all the unique and developing students at Bilbray!

Speaking about Goals and Progress leads to developing Core Beliefs

Student Cell Phone Use
Students may not take/use their cell phones outside during recess. If students or parents need to relay urgent messages to each other, they may do so through the office.
Students who are not feeling well should be evaluated by the health office who will then make contact to parents about any concerns.
Added Level of Security for Student Devices
Teachers will keep this in mind if assigning online work during the week or over the weekend. Students will need to use a personal device if they need to be online after the permissible hours.
Thank you!
