Flipped Classroom PLC: Meets Thursday's @ 1 PM in the Tech Center Conference Room
Flipped Teaching is a form of blended learning which encompasses any use of technology to leverage the learning in a classroom, so a teacher can spend more time interacting with students instead of lecturing. This is most commonly being done using teacher-created videos that students view outside of class time. It is also known as backwards classroom, reverse instruction, flipping the classroom, and reverse teaching. In this Learning Community, receive the direction, support and assistance in creating materials, gaining ideas and determining direction while you begin your journey into the domain of a blended classroom. Teachers will work at their own pace and blend each subject or classroom at their own speed. Each style of classroom depends on the teacher, subject and how the teacher wishes to utilize the classroom environment.
Challenge Based Learning PLC: Meets Wednesdays @ 1PM in the Tech Center Conference Room
