Northridge High Students Honored
Five Northridge High School seniors were recently named as National Merit Finalists. Charlotte Farrar, Jennifer Stroud, Caroline Ferry, Joshua Deck and Lauren Barkey were listed among approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The five have an opportunity to be among a group of 7,600 students nationwide who will be named National Merit Finalists in the spring and vie for more than $31 million in scholarships.
A detailed scholarship application along with academic records, personal work and community activities, leadership qualities and honors and awards are among that items that semifinalists submit for consideration as a Finalist.
