Math
This week we learned about different ways to make the number 10. We practiced writing addition sentences using the plus and equals sign.
Please practice counting by 1’s, 5’s, 10’s to 100, by 2’s to 20 and backward from 20 with your child. We will celebrate our counting success by having an ice cream party on Friday, March 18.
Writing
We learned about snails and crabs and wrote about we learned about snails. Very soon we will have snails and crabs of our own in our classroom! We also wrote about what we would do with $100 dollars!

Conferences
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet with every family! It was fun to share how much the students' brains have grown. Thank you for supporting your child in their learning journey :-)
100th Day of Kindergarten
Today is the 100th day of kindergarten. We spent our day making 100 tally
marks on special hats, stringing 100 fruit loops for necklaces, writing about having 100 dollars, looking at what 100 looks like using the bags of 100 things our kindergarten friend's brought in, and reading 100th day of kindergarten books! We are 100 days SMARTER!
