Kindergarten Enrollment
Registration Starts February 22nd!
We request that all families planning on enrolling their students in Kindergarten for 2022-2023 complete our Kindergarten Questionnaire. In Spanish Cuestionario de kindergarten.
Registration Packets are available in the school office. Contact Kelli Hutchens for more information by email or 360-445-5785.
IT'S VITAL that you register early so we can make plans for 2022-2023.
There is a common misconception that you should wait to see class sizes before registering. The opposite is the case, the more families that register the easier it is for us to determine class sizes and how many teachers we need for kindergarten. By waiting to register, it often drives class sizes up in August when it's the most difficult to make changes.

Summer Camp Opportunity to Explore Maritime Stories in Port Townsend!
We're beyond excited to invite all high school-age students to get hands-on with history this summer in Port Townsend. At this year's Youth Heritage Project, taking place from July 12-15, 2022, participants will have the chance to dive into maritime heritage—past and present—and work on storytelling projects related to the new Maritime Washington National Heritage Area.
This FREE overnight summer program offers a unique mix of opportunities for active learning, outdoor fun, and student-led volunteer projects. From our base in historic Fort Worden, you’ll have the chance to explore Port Townsend’s fascinating history, vibrant maritime culture, and beautiful natural setting. You’ll take to the water in locally handmade long boats, meet with boat builders and tradespeople, learn from local Tribal members, and play in quirky downtown Port Townsend. You’ll also have the chance to work with local partners to help them better tell their stories—serving as advisors on real-world problems.
Whether you’re a history lover, an outdoor enthusiast, an aspiring storyteller, or a budding artist, YHP is a fun opportunity to explore a unique place in your state, meet new friends, and give back this summer! Apply on our website via this link anytime between now and the May 13 deadline.
We’re also seeking adults to serve as teacher-mentors for the program, click this link to apply.
We share this information as a great opportunity for students, this is sponsored by multiple state agencies.
