PTO Luncheon is tomorrow. I met with them this morning, and they are excited to be serving baked potatoes with toppings and salads. Yum!
We need all staff to attend the first 10 minutes of the grade level meeting next week. We want to touch base about CREED, answer questions, take feedback, and hand out the new 2nd qtr Advisory booklets for each teacher to run off for their students.

Congrats on the Best in State award. His grandmother and I attended every event during our grandson's time in the Honors Band and were most impressed with your leadership and ability as you led the students to amazing success. They all had an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives. Thank you for being an inspiration for him. (Thanks also to Mr. Harp and Ms. Winter.)
I retired after 54 years as an educator. During that time, I worked with hundreds of teachers from K-12 to doctorate. I know there are many good teachers, some not so good, and a few educational leaders. From my experience, l can say, without reservation that you are truly an outstanding educator- the best of the best.
On behalf of of all of our family, our deepest appreciation.

Hi Ms. Maki,
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your evening to write this super kind email! Your words are so appreciated by our daughter, who can get discouraged in math. They're also appreciated by me, a frazzled mother of two middle school daughters, who benefits from this quiet pause and reminder that her kid is pretty great :)
Thanks so much! We are grateful to have you as her teacher.

Thank you to Shellie and the PALs for stepping in and preparing the CREED game materials. It was a huge help and I appreciate it so much! - Marian
Mrs. Maki, Thank you so much for taking the time to send this. Makes me and sooo happy! Our son is loving this year and your class! He truly enjoyed the last project for your class and wants everything he does to be perfect. I am very exciting about this year as well, I think he’s going to rock it!
Have a fabulous day and thanks again! -Happy Parent
Thank you Ms. Maki!
That was a delightful e-mail to read to the family at the breakfast table this morning :) . We think she's pretty special, but it's always nice to know that others do too! I also applaud you for taking time out of your day to make ours. Hope you have a great rest of your week and weekend.
Sincerely,
Happy Parent
Coach Holt,
Just a quick note to let you know we think you guys are doing a great job with the boys! I know too often coaches don't hear a word from parents unless they want to complain about something so thought I would share a compliment with you instead. It's been fun to watch all the boys grow each week. Keep rolling! Our son is loving it!
Grateful,
Happy Parent
