Cordelia Hills Update

11/13/2018

Message from the Principal

It has been a tough year with the smoke, anxiety, and loss related to Northern California fires. We are humbled to work with you to provide a safe, calm place for students to learn as they experience unhealthy conditions and images of destruction in nearby communities.

Air Quality: We continue to work with Solano County Health and under the direction of FSUSD to monitor air quality at our site. Currently, air quality remains at an unhealthy level. We will reduce outdoor activities including moving PE and recess indoors. If your child has acute respiratory needs, please work with our main office and nursing staff so we can ensure their safety while on campus.

Conference week continues this week thru Friday, November 16th. This is an opportunity to sit down with your child's teacher and to review the report card and to discuss progress, strengths, and any areas of growth. Each conference day (see calendar below) is a minimum day (all Tk/K are on AM schedule and all other students get out at 11:50). The report cards can be viewed/printed in Illuminate.

Remaining dates for conferences are today, Nov. 14th, Nov. 15th, and Nov. 16th.

Thanksgiving Break: We are closed all of next week (11/19-11/23) for Thanksgiving Break. School resumes Monday, November 26th.
