St. Patrick's Day Cultural Celebration - 3/13/23
Monday evening, March 13 Cascade Schools will host a cultural celebration of St.Patrick's Day. The event will begin with a Pub Dinner from 5:00 - 6:00.. The family "Pub Dinner" will be hosted by Title 1 and CAP. Then families will be invited to the Little Gym where our community partners will have 9 learning stations set up. Centers include:
- Cascade Library: Literature of Ireland
- Horizons: A Brief History of St. Patrick's Day
- Cascade Aquatic/Rec Center: A safe and traditional Irish target game
- Valley County 4-H and Cascade High School Volunteer Students: face painting
- Idaho Irish Dancers: Dance Instruction and a demonstration dance mid-evening
- and many more
Our team hopes this family engagement will be as well attended as the Day of the Dead Celebrations two years. We know that family engagement supports our students and is directly correlated to student academic achievement and strengthens communities.
Supplemental Levy 2023:
The Levy supports our mission by:
- Maintaining high quality certified & classified staff
- providing elective & humanities programs required for graduation and for providing a well-rounded education.
- Improving our school & facility
- Supporting the District's student transportation needs
Why Renew the Levy:
- IT IS NEEDED: Schools across the state of Idaho are not able to operate effectively on State tax revenues alone. In fact, the majority of Idaho School Districts need a supplemental levy to operate.
- IT IS EXPIRING: Cascade's current levy expires June 30, 2023 and will need to be renewed to continue as it is currently operating.
- IT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITY: Levy dollars covers costs that State and Federal dollars don't so we can provide required in-person learning opportunities for our children.
🐮 Ranchers Feeding Youth - March 16 🐮
Ranchers Feeding Youth will be at Cascade Schools on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
They will be presenting to elementary students and providing FREE lunch to ALL students and staff that RSVP.
Thank you Ranchers Feeding Youth!!

Sportsmanship Award for Cascade High School
Cascade High School won the 2023 State 1A DII Boys Basketball Sportsmanship Award and we could not be more proud of that.
At this year’s tournament, an independent committee judges all of the tournament coaches, participants, administration, spectators including parents and other representatives. Each school was evaluated on important behaviors that are guiding principles of sportsmanship and citizenship, and Cascade High School was a true example of positive school culture and a community with pride.
Thank you to everyone that came out to support the Ramblers at last week's State Tournament!
