2022-2023 Future Course Requests Due This Friday, December 17!
The future scheduling process for 2022-2023 is underway. All current FHS students in grades 9, 10, and 11 MUST submit their requests and alternates on Xello Course Planner by Friday, December 17. Because our process on Xello is paperless, we ask that all students discuss their choices with their parent/guardian PRIOR to submitting them on the Xello Course Planner. Completed paper applications for internships, apprenticeships, CNA, and MATC Dual Enrollment Academies are due to Student Services by December 21.
All families should have received the letter linked here via email on Dec. 1. Additional future planning information, including departmental offerings, a complete list of all offered courses, and the full ACP Course Guide with detailed descriptions and prerequisites can be found on the FHS School Counseling "Choosing Courses" page here.

BBB Students of Integrity Scholarship
Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin awards scholarships to Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated character, leadership, and ethical values. The scholarships are awarded for post-high school education at any Wisconsin-based accredited college beginning in the fall of 2022, including community colleges/technical colleges. Rather than focusing on grades or extracurricular activities, the BBB scholarship is primarily based on an essay that must convey how the student has experienced and dealt with an ethical dilemma. As the scholarship recipients pursue their careers, BBB Serving Wisconsin hopes to develop future business leaders who will promote ethics in the Wisconsin marketplace.
High school seniors can apply:
Freshman PE Health Sessions
During the freshman PE9 Health sessions (January 6 and January 7, 2022), the School Social Worker and School Psychologist will guest speak to teach students about mental health and how to seek help if they are worried about themselves or a friend. They are using a program called SOS Signs of Suicide. The program teaches students about this difficult topic and encourages them to seek help.
Parents, please read this letter to learn more about the session. Click here to see the parent handout.
