The Mission of Holy Trinity Catholic High School

Holy Trinity Catholic High School seeks to form the Christian Leaders of Tomorrow; we strive to develop the intellect, educate the heart, and form the character of each student by giving witness to Gospel values.

At Holy Trinity Catholic High School we believe communication between the school and community is crucial to making our students successful. This Weekly Bulletin will detail any announcements and events that are taking place the upcoming week. Please look for this bulletin every Friday afternoon to be sent to your email address on file.

Welcome Back!

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Holy Trinity Catholic High School, welcome back! Thank you for trusting in our mission, as we begin the school year laying the foundation for an extraordinary year. This week we devoted significant time and effort to playing, praying, and serving together trying to form a unique bond. We are looking forward to a great school year! Sweet Monday!!!

Hello Celtics!


My name is Kiyeon Glandon and I am the sponsor/coordinator for Sweet Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Martinez.


Monday, August 28th will be our first SWEET MONDAY of the year! To those of you who are new to Holy Trinity, this is an event that occurs on the last Monday of each month. Free sweets are passed out to the students and employees during lunch for all of their hard work and dedication to the school with leftovers placed in the teacher's lounge unless otherwise noted. If you can provide 2 dozen of some type of sweet treat, please email me at kiyeonglandon@gmail.com so that we have an idea of how much is being brought. The students love fruits and healthy snacks as well!


Please drop off the sweets at the front office on the morning of Monday, August 29th.

Please put your name on your treats so that we can give proper thanks and keep track of the parent volunteer hours.


Parents can log one volunteer hour for bringing in a treat. (If you make or bake the treats, then log however long it took to make the treat also!) The students LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this event!!! We always welcome parents to come help set up and hand out the treats to the school students and faculty! (You will earn volunteer hours for this also!)

School Pictures

School Pictures on Thursday, August 31st. Wear Mass uniform both Thursday and Friday. The photographer has asked that students wear sweaters/jackets if the student has the uniform jacket or sweater.


Senior makeups for portraits will also be the same day.

EIM training

Ethics and Integrity Ministry (EIM) In an effort to protect our children, the Diocese of Austin mandates that all individuals who have contact with our children must be in compliance with the Ethics and Integrity in Ministry Policy, which equips each of us with the tools and knowledge to protect our children from possible abuse and perpetrators. All parents MUST complete this process to volunteer at the school.


Registration is required through the Diocesan. In order to register for an EIM Workshop, you must first complete the volunteer application, “eAppsDB”. Once you have attended the workshop please submit a copy of the certificate to the school office. This workshop is for new parents and those who are in need of the refresher course.

Girls Cross Country

Congrats to our girls Cross Country team for placing first in their meet on Friday morning! Great way to start the year!

Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball Team for receiving third place in the Memorial Christian Tournament this weekend. Congrats, ladies!

Student Spotlight

Catherine Vincent and her partner received first place in the Chamber division in the International Music Competition. As a result, they were invited to perform in Vienna. Way to go, Catherine!

Service Opportunities

The Wildflower Place:

This is a retirement home that is always in need of people to come and spend time with the residents. This might involve playing board games, socializing, singing, playing an instrument, etc. It is located in Temple and can be reached at (254) 239-0458.


Friends of the Temple Public Library:

There will be a used book sale August 30-September 2. The library is in need of volunteers to help during and after the book sale. For more information, contact (254) 298-5555.



Our Lady of the Angels Maternity Shelter:

is looking for ladies to volunteer during office hours (8am - 6pm) on a weekly basis. If you are EIM certified, able to complete a background check and have a current Driver's license, please consider serving with us! We are looking for ladies to help with daily tasks around the shelter and possibly serve as house parents. A house parent is a person who's priority is to advocate for the moms and children we house. It entails being a supportive person for the mom, transporting them to Dr appointments, help with life skills education such as parenting classes, and other things that help to improve their pregnancy or parenting situation so they can better care for themselves and their children.
