Banned Book Week
The Media Center celebrated Banned Book Week from September 21st through September 27th with a display and public service announcement. The PSA was done by the TV Production class and then shown on school TV program The BUZZ.
ALA's Freedom to Read statement for minors is:
"Libraries and governing bodies should maintain that parents and only parents have the right and responsibility to restrict the access of their children and only their children to library resources.
