Curriculum Night Is Monday!
Happy Friday, team!
I wanted to touch base with everyone regarding Curriculum Night on Monday.
For our new Cowboys, Curriculum Night is our fall open house. The parents are invited to walk their child’s schedule and meet his teachers. Each “class period” is 7 minutes long.
Our leaders would like for us to discuss the nuts and bolts of the classroom, and the learning environment and learning design. I have a very simple presentation that you are welcome to view and utilize as needed:

If you float, I recommend that you go to each of your classrooms and open your presentation (if you have one) prior to 6:00 so that you don’t have to worry about logging into each room. If someone floats into your room, please help them in any way you can!
Sometimes our parents like to ask personal questions about their child’s progress in your class. Please note that this is meet the teacher, not parent conferences. I utilize a sign-in sheet that includes a place for parents to request a conference so that if I do have a parent wanting to talk about his child, I can direct them to sign up for a conference. See my sign-in sheet below:
