How is Henking School celebrating?

Tuesday, April 30th, 2:45pm

The Halls of Henking School

Henking School is celebrating this event with a Reading Parade at 2:40 and a reading Fiesta back in the classrooms that could include, guest readers, reading with reading buddies and other fun literacy activities.

Wondering how to celebrate in your classroom?

- Buddy Reading

- Guest Readers

- Share your book posters

- Watch book trailers to get kids excited about new books.

- Have some extra read aloud time.

Preparing for the parade

Every student should choose his/her favorite book of the year. He/she should then make a poster celebrating this book. Students will carry the posters in the parade to inspire other students to read these amazing books we are celebrating!

The Parade

The parade will be starting at 10:45 for morning kindergarten and at 2:40 for the rest of the school in the afternoon.
