Canned Food Drive
Our student-led Student Council canned food drive goal was 1050 cans. We surpassed our goal and donated 1, 362 cans to the South Side Mission! Each grade level reached their classroom goal and received the reward of wearing pajamas this week! Giving back to the community is "The Hollis Way!"
5 Essential Survey
Please help us improve Hollis Grade School by taking five minutes and completing this survey. Both parents need to take this survey and the data goes into calculating our school report card.

Six Flags Read to Succeed
- This program is for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
- Students need to read 6 hours and they earn a ticket to Six Flags St. Louis.
- New this year - they are doing online reading logs and if students read more than 6 hours they can earn discounts on additional tickets for family members, season passes or even memberships.
- Teachers earn 1 free ticket if at least 8 students in their class read the 6 hours.
- Tickets cost $55. This is the 3rd year we are doing this program. Last year we only had 25 students participating.
- Reading logs and information will be going home in the Friday folders. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Jen Doktor at jdoktor@hollis328.net
