Hey Now...(you're an All-Star)
December 22, 2023
To the people who make me smile:
Over the past four months I have been in awe at your heart and dedication to your families. It is easily apparent that teaching is not just a profession to our BT staff, it is a passion. A passion you invest yourselves into each and every day. It is truly a great honor to be a part of this family. I would like to thank you all for welcoming me, accepting me, and most of all believing in me.

Wellness Week January 3-5
Teaching and Learning (me too) is recommending that the week after break (January 3-5) be focused on student wellness activities to assist the students in coming back to rock out the new year. The Character Strong focus is Perseverance for the month of January as well.

NWEA Winter Testing
The winter testing window begins on Monday, December 11th and ends on Friday, January 19th. You will note from the assessment calendar that the winter NWEA window opens sooner than it has in the past. Please send me the dates and times you plan to test by Friday, December 8th so we can try our best not to disrupt your students' testing environment.
PLEASE BE SURE TO CREATE A TESTING ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES SUCCESSFUL SESSIONS.
Kristina Cottrell will send out communication to support accommodations.
Below are tutorial links on how to navigate the new NWEA website.

If you would like to have a student retake the NWEA assessment, please be sure to email me a request with reasoning supporting the request. Then, I will email Teaching and Learning to request them to omit the initial test.
