King Philip II of Spain was born May 21, 1527. He was married first to his cousin Maria of Portugal in 1543, who eventually dies two years later after birthing a son named Don Carlos. He then married Mary Tudor of England. He was not happy in England, and Mary died in 1558. When his ties with England broke, Philip went back to Spain the next year. His Death date was September 13, 1598.
