What is Qigong?

Qigong is Chinese/Taoist exercise for health and longevity. It includes meditation, breathing exercises and movements designed to move the qi, or energy of the body. Healing qigong is a very gentle and powerful way to heal the body and mind. Anyone can do it. Qigong is the ultimate self-healing for preventive medicine and health. It's also fun and makes you feel good!

DROP IN CLASSES-All levels welcome!

Mondays: 3:30 - 5:00 pm-We may focus on a form for a month or do more varied practice for that day.

Fridays: 9 am – 10:15 am—The forms vary weekly and by the season.

Drop in class cost: $15/class. Student and Senior discounts available.


Winter and Spring Workshops-

January 12-Hulu Gong is fortifying for the immune system, especially during the cold and damp months.

February 16-Jade Body is a superior form for spinal health and endocrine issues.

April 6-Jade Woman Qigong is especially beneficial for women and gynecological issues, and transitions in women's lives and focuses on the liver. Great for Spring!

Workshops are held at FloorSpace Studio and are on Saturdays, 9:30-12:30. Cost is $40-$50 which includes an instruction booklet. Please Register Here or turtleqigong.com.

Nancy A. Rao, ND, LAc is a Naturopathic Doctor, Acupuncturist and Certified Taoist Medical Qigong Instructor. She loves to teach and share qigong with others.
