OCEAN High School Student of the Week
OCEAN Student of the Week is Senior Yulidiana Gomez . Yuli is a student in OCEAN School’s Online Program. She is a self-directed learner, and has the organizational skills necessary to manage her learning independently. She has earned the Washington State Seal of Biliteracy, and plans to pursue a career in the medical field following high school graduation. This past summer Yuli participated in a multi-day learning opportunity at the University of Washington for students interested in this field, and she is currently in a program offered by Jefferson Healthcare to deepen her understanding of the skills she will need to work in this field. In addition to being an engaged and goal-focused student, Yuli enjoys creating artwork. She is incredibly kind and aware of those around her, and consistently brings a positive attitude, and willingness to work hard. Our Port Townsend community will be fortunate to have her as part of our healthcare team one day.
