Hello, Centennial Families!
We hope that you each enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with your families!
At Centennial, our teachers and staff collaborated to review student data, essential learning standards, common assessments and more! This time was invaluable, however we are thankful to welcome your children back today!
Today's "Welcome Back Wednesday" is short, however please read on for important information from PTO regarding our upcoming "Buffalo Stampede" Fundraiser!

First Ever Buffalo Stampede Fun Run
Please see the information in the section below about our Fun Run! This fundraiser will be our BIGGEST AND PRIMARY FUNDRAISER of the year. We need everyone's help to make it successful! (The Stampede of Giving Checkwriting Campaign usually held in the winter will NOT be happening). The Buffalo Stampede Fun Run is our time to shine!
Spirit Night
Centennial Families - Join us Tuesday, September 13th from 6:00-9:00 PM at Smitty's Garage for Spirit Night. Eat dinner with your fellow Buffalos and 10% will be donated to Centennial. (Covell & Kelly location)

**Here we Go** BUFFALO STAMPEDE FUN RUN!
OUR FIRST EVER BUFFALO STAMPEDE FUN RUN KICKS OFF *THIS FRIDAY*!
There will be many prizes and surprises along the way until our run on September 20th! The mission of the Buffalo Stampede is to promote health, physical fitness and a sense of community.
This event is put on by Centennial PTO with a goal of keeping 95% of raised funds within the school. This will be our BIGGEST and PRIMARY FUNDRAISER of the year and we know it’s going to be a BLAST!
Get ready to stampede, Buffalos!
- PARENTS: Please check your child's Thursday folders on September 8th for registration information, prizes that can be earned, and all the details about sharing your student's pledge pages online!
- STUDENTS: be prepared to be dazzled at our Kickoff Assembly Friday September 9th! Wear your neon bright colors and be ready to get our Stampede off to a great start!
In the meantime, order your Shout Out Signs HERE NOW and get ready to cheer on your favorite Buffalos!!!! Signs are $15 and will be put along the track on the day of the run! Signs will be decorated by parents and/or students at home and sent back to school to display on the run route!

- 8:50-9:15 Arrival.
- Students in class by 9:15 a.m. are counted on time (tardies begin at 9:16 and require parent sign-in, please)
- Students are dropped off at the front of building and escorted to class by staff as needed
- Breakfast is served in the Cafeteria from 8:50-9:15
- PK Dismissal 3:25
- K-5 Dismissal 3:55
School Hours for TEACHERS/STAFF:
- Begins 8:45 a.m. (students in classrooms at 8:50 a.m.)
- Ends at 4:15 p.m.
