The Victorian Era was the period in which Britain was ruled by Queen Victoria and Britain had peace prosperity and wealth.
Child Labor/Poverty
Poverty increased because of rapid employment changes, housing prices, and social welfare of the Victorian Age. Child labor went up because industry jobs could use children and not pay them well.
Charles Dickens
Was a famous writer, Charles Dickens became popular after he wrote the Pickwick Papers, he fictionalized real world problems and brought them to the attention of the public, he had a loud voice but was not largely heard about poverty.
Industrialization
Industrialization pushed out agriculture as a income source and way of life, a series of inventions popularized after a series of useful inventions, it increased pollution increased wealth and lowered human work hours.
