Mt. Baldy School Memo
January 14, 2022
Remember, No School This Monday in Remembrance of MLK Jr.
A huge thank you to you all for your effort and sacrifice in preventing COVID-19 spread on campus! We have had a lot of students absent in the last two weeks and hope that we will be on the downward slope of this surge.
Parent/guardians, it will be important for you to assist your students in assuring they complete and bring in make up work provided by teachers in a timely manner. This is important to make sure your child or children do not get behind in their learning. As well, teachers will need the completed work back in order to provide credit for your children's COVID-19 related absences.
I know you will join me in immense gratitude yet again for the amazing effort on the part of our teachers in assuring that your children are being provided with materials to continue their education. It has taken teachers a lot of time to compile materials, provide instructions and coordinate with parents on pick up. A big shout out to all of our staff as well, for working together to make sure we had our bases covered as we dealt with employee absences.
Below please find our updated COVID-19 Amendment which includes CDPH updates on quarantine and isolation as of January 12, 2022. Please review this document. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 909-985-0991.
You will notice that periods of isolation and quarantine have been shortened based upon recent findings about the Omicron variant.
It is being highly recommended by CDPH to utilize 3 layer or M95 masks rather than cloth masks.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend and holiday in remembrance of the work and impact of Martin Luther King Jr.
Sincerely,
Nancy Sirski
