Audubon Park School
Principal's Update #3
.
I am proud to serve as the Audubon Park School K8 principal. The building is in the last stages of construction. We are looking forward to opening the doors on August 2nd from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. for Community Tours. This will be the first chance for a glimpse of this new and dynamic facility.
The first year at APS will be an amazing experience for ALL. We are anticipating a total of 749 students. I am excited to meet all of our parents and new students (AKA – early adopters). The staff is being finalized and I can tell you I have had the opportunity to interview DOZENS of dynamic teachers. The staff in place come August will be what I consider the top 1% in the profession!
Community Connections will be a HUGE part of the school vibe. I will be inviting many local business owners to partner with us, with one goal in mind: To properly prepare our students for an OUTSTANDING career and/or college experience. I am looking for insight, volunteers, participation and your engagement into this new neighborhood school. If you have a desire to offer any of your time, talents or resources, don’t hesitate to contact me or fill out the Interest form at www.AudubonParkSchoolPTSA.org.
I am always available by email. I look forward to meeting and partnering with you soon, as we do what is best for ALL students.
Sincerely,
Trevor Honohan
Audubon Park School Principal
