Staff Teacher/Member of the Month
Congratulations to Ms. Amber Minnerick for being our November Teacher of the Month. Ms. Minnerick is one of our wonderful 1st grade teachers. She has taught a total of 7 years, this year being her 4th at LSRO. She enjoys reading, yoga, pilates, writing, and photography. Her son, Oliver, will be in kindergarten next year and loves to learn. We are thankful for Ms. Minnerick using Information Literacy to be Collaborative with her team and other teachers.
November's Staff Member of the Month is Roni Stacy. Mrs. Stacy is the Administrative Assistant in the Education building for grades 4-6th. Mrs. Stacy is back with us after taking a few years off and we are so excited to have her back as part of the LSRO family.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, Reid; and their three children. She enjoys working on their ranch, taking care of the farm animals, hanging out with friends, and volunteering at her church in Ennis, The Avenue.

LifeLeader:
Problem Solver
When you are ready to lead, you think about the information and tools you have to find a solution to a problem. You ask questions, listen to what others think, identify the problem, and then take action. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute, Problem Solver.
This weeks I will statement: “I will be a problem solver by knowing what is causing the problem, then I will take action to correct it.”
Perfect Attendance Incentives
Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes. Please see Pages 3-4 of the Student Handbook for the Attendance guidelines.
