A Message from our Assistant Principal.......
Thank you again for your patience with the morning traffic. It seems like the line is moving a little bit better and we were even cleared out by 7:30 two days this week! We are hopefully approaching construction completion and the drop off will be back to normal.
Again, we do not want students to be dropped off in the parking lot. Through construction, parents are able to park and walk their student to the crosswalk. We want to make sure that our BEARs get to school safely every day.
Lastly please remember, no cell phones in the car line!
Have a great weekend!
BEARy best wishes...

A Message from our School Counselor......
What a fabulous first Wylie Way Day!! I hope your children enjoyed this day as much as we all did!! Their "Let the Games Begin" mats should have come home on Wednesday. I loved getting to see what my first grader put on his and it was a great conversation starter during family time.
You may have noticed that most of the classes did not finish all of the lessons on this day. This is due to all the great conversations that were going on in the classrooms. We wanted the conversations to be meaningful, so the goal was to get the most out of each lesson and not worry about finishing. If classes did not finish, they will be completing the lessons on our Wylie Way Follow Up day that is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 3rd!
Attached to our Paw Prints is a flyer for our Wylie Way Christmas. This is a program that our school district has to support families during the holiday season. The qualification documents you need to bring to this ONE DAY REGISTRATION on Saturday, October 13th, is listed on the flyer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Upcoming Dates:
Wednesday, October 3- Wylie Way Follow-Up Day
Wednesday, October 17- Unity Day- We are asking all staff and students to wear ORANGE!
Week of Oct 22-26- Red Ribbon Week (More details to come!)
Have a great weekend!

A Message from Nurse Abby.....
Happy Friday!
What a great week! I have completed vision and hearing screenings for kindergarten and will be starting on first grade Monday.
Nurse tip: I wash my hands every time I interact with a child. On a busy day, that could be 25 times! Hand washing is the best prevention of passing germs to others, and keeping yourself well. How many times a day do you wash your hands?
Please remember to get your flu shots.
Stay Healthy,
Nurse Abby
