A girl in a triangle

Dear H.C,

I have read your column for years, but I never thought that I would be writing to you. I've tried going to "Women who love to much" but i'm still hurting, so I thought maybe you could help me. My problem is the guy I love doesn't want to be in the same room as me. And my best friend is supposed to marrie him but loves someone else. Every time I try to forget about him I see her and it all comes back. I need help fast!

Help from a expert

Dear A girl in a triangle,

I know how much it hurts you to see him be ignored and pushed off. I also know that you must be mad at her, but if you think about it you are also mad at him. I feel your pain, and I want you to know that I'm right here behind you.

Here is one option you have but might not want to try. You could try to find someone else, someone that will love you for whats on the inside not the out. One of the pros to this is that you might find someone better than him; like treats you well, likes you, And pays attention to you. One of the cons to this is that you might not find someone and end up resenting your friend.

Another option you have is you could go around and say bad things about your friend. That way all the boys in Athens won't like her, and you can try to date him. The pros to this is that this boy might fall in love with you. But the cons to this is she might find out it was you and resent you for it.

I hope this advice will help you get your man. I also hope that you and your friend will will still be friends. I also hope that you wont end up mad at each other. So good luck and have fun!
