Virtual Learning Academy Newsletter
March 2021
Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well as we head into Spring. The days are getting longer and very soon, will become brighter! While the sun is starting to shine more, I encourage students and families to participate in active lifestyles. While socially distancing, a run, walk, hike, or bike ride can do wonders for one's mindset. Please visit the Family Resource Link below to find a plethora of supports and activities for school aged children. The link can be accessed here as well.
We are now officially in the 3rd trimester of the school year! You should have received a copy of your child's report card mailed home. Teachers also provided them electronically.
Thank you all for providing feedback and input in the parent survey I recently shared. Your voices and opinions matter.
Sincerely,
Lisa Lorona
District Assessments - Reading ISIP
Teachers will send reminders if the monthly Reading ISIP has not been completed by your child. Please help us by ensuring these are completed. Thank you for your support!
Students in grades K/1 take the ESGI or F&P. If you have questions regarding assessments, please contact your child's teacher directly.
Common Sense Media
Common Sense Media also has a digital citizenship component. Free lessons that are backed by research are available to you here.
