National Walk to School Day is Back

West Noble will be participating on October 7th, 2015

Your property is on WN's route for Walk to School Day

Last year, West Noble's participation in National Walk to School Day was a huge success! We had over 2,500 walkers! Many students, parents, WN staff, and community members gave such positive feedback for this event that we had to do it again. Our goal is the same--to encourage and to provide our students with opportunities to be physically active while also raising awareness of the significance for Safe Routes to School. You are receiving this flyer because you have property on the route that WN will be using this year. Roads will be closed for the safety of our walkers.

The route for this year's walk will be the same as last year. Students will be dropped off by bus to the parking lot of the Noble County Community Foundation. From there students, staff, and community members will walk down Diamond Lake Road, Rochester Road, and Charger Avenue where they will meet WNE at the softball diamonds. The route will be closed approximately from 8:30am-10:30am. Walkers are permitted to walk only on the road, not on your property.

We invite you to join us for the walk! We ask that you please arrive at the Noble County Community Foundation parking lot on Diamond Lake Road before 8:30am. WN buses will return you to your vehicle after the walk is finished.

*Jogging, running, or cycling are not permitted on the route

**If at all possible, please keep pets contained for the safety of our walkers
