We hope you have been enjoying the three-day weekend and commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. There is much we can do to learn from and expand on Dr. King's activism and dreams of equality, justice and peace. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school tomorrow!

14 - Classroom Valentine Parties

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Michael Murray to Dryden. Mr. Murray will be Dryden's art teacher beginning Monday, January 24 through the end of the school year. You can learn about Mr. Murray's background and experience from his website. Mr. Niro will continue to guest teach Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week. Mrs. Burns will guest teach on Wednesday. In the meantime, we are wishing Mrs. Fuglestad all the best. If you have a card or note for Mrs. Fuglestad from your family or student, we would be happy to send them her way on your behalf.

Classroom Valentine's Day parties will be held on Monday, February 14. If your child will be passing out Valentine's Day cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them per the district's wellness policy. Items such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Latex balloons and goodie bags filled with edible treats or candy are also not permitted. We are so thankful for the PTA volunteers who are coordinating fun Valentine's Day experiences for our students!

If you have a child who will begin kindergarten next year, pre-registration will begin Wednesday, January 12 on the District 25 website. You may also pre-register students in grades 1-5 who will be new to Dryden next year. If you know of someone with a kindergarten-aged child or new family to the neighborhood, please encourage them to pre-register or give us a call. Thank you for helping us to get the word out!

Please note: Registration for current Dryden students will begin in the spring. You will receive an email in late spring with a registration link. There is nothing you need to do at this time.

The last day to enroll your child is Tuesday, February 1st. SHIELD Testing takes place on Tuesday afternoons at Dryden. Please click the links below and fill out the appropriate forms.
